Arbitrage Tax Exempt Bond Services P.A. is an independently owned accounting firm in the Pensacola, Florida area that completes arbitrage rebate, and yield restriction calculations for wide variety of bond issuers large or small. We have prepared rebate calculations for bond issues such as transportation, health care, education, community development districts, utilities, housing, sports facilities and convention centers, school districts, environmental facilities.
Our Story
We are not like the large “big box” firms and companies that provide arbitrage rebate services. A key part of our approach is to make rebate compliance as simple as possible for our clients. We provide a quick turnaround on our services and our reports are laid out in an easily understandable format. We have an excellent quality control review process in place. Your calculation will be prepared and reviewed by a CPA. We will work closely with your bond counsel to resolve any issues or questions that may arise.
Our Arbitrage Rebate Services are tailored to the specific needs of the client and our fees are very competitive. We offer several fee structures, including volume discounts, which are designed to accommodate the specific needs of our clients. Client service is our top priority. We take time to develop client relationships and to answer questions that you may have.

Curtis M. Johnson
Founder & CEO
Curtis Johnson, a CPA licensed in the states of Florida and Nebraska, is the founder and owner of the firm. He manages all services performed by the firm and supervises the day-to day activities of all tax and arbitrage services. He has been performing arbitrage rebate calculations for a number of years and has worked for another Arbitrage Service Practice that was previously part of one of the big 4 international accounting firms. Prior to starting his own firm he served as Manager for small regional accounting firm and as a Senior Financial Internal Auditor for a national bank and a fortune 500 insurance company. Formally, he also worked for two different international accounting firms auditing state and local governments, not-for-profits, banks, and insurance companies. Curtis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. Curtis is also a member of Government Finance Officers for Florida. Curtis is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Accounting and MIS.
